2.) Jack (Russell) Hester (American Nationality)

อาจารย์แจ๊ค (รัสเซล) เฮสเตอร์

Jack Russell Hester was born in a small village in exactly the center of the United States in the state of Kansas.  Due to the very limited opportunities for employment or education he left his home town at the age of 18 and attended junior college in the state of Iowa for 2 years where he majored in piano, choir music and performance, Spanish language and English literature.  Following graduation he spent 3 years as a soldier in the United States army, spending most of the time on duty in Germany.  At that time he continued to learn German and study piano when time permitted.

Upon returning to the United States he entered the University of Washington and completed degrees in elementary music education, and subsequently study of German language and literature culminating in BA and MA degrees.  He also spent 2 years teaching general studies in 4th grade at elementary school in Monroe, Washington.  Upon completion of MA in German he spent two years teaching English in the German school system (Gymnasium) in Dortmund and Schwerte/Ruhr western Germany. 

In 1973 he returned to the US and established residence in Colorado in the Denver/Boulder area and spent the next 14 years teaching piano in his private studio, and, during the last 4 years there graduated with a Master's degree in piano pedagogy from the University of Colorado.  He also had experience teaching English and German in the secondary school system of Boulder and Denver. 

In 1987 Mr. Hester moved to Yokohama, Japan, and spent the next 12 years teaching English and German in various institutions in Yokohama and Tokyo.  He taught English for 9 years at the central Yokohama YMCA business college, and the following three years teaching English at Keio University, Tokyo, Yokohama National University, and Tokai University in Hiratsuka, Kanagawa, Japan.  He also taught English classes for groups of the employees at Matsushita Corporation evenings.  He also taught German to Matsushita employees individually. 

In March, 2000 Mr. Hester moved to Bangkok, and has been a retired resident since then.  He continues teaching English privately in his home, and also continues to study piano on a regular basis, and gives occasional performances.  He is currently working on a recital program which includes music from the Baroque to late Romantic periods.  He has also studied piano locally with Mr. Jamorn Supapol, Ms. Jun Komatsu, and currently with Professor Artas Balakauskas of Lithuania.  Mr. Hester is very active as a retired teacher and also traveler.

3.) Andrew Cook (English Nationality)

อาจารย์แอนดรูว์ คุก (ชื่อเล่นอาจารย์คุกกี้)

With a Bachelor's degree (Honours) in Business Studies from University of Derby, England, Andrew Cook is now a 41-year-old English teacher (as of May 2015) from Exeter, England -- a famous cathedral city in the picturesque county of Devon.  He worked as a project manager for a Sector Skills Council and has had a career in adult education for nearly 14 years and is passionate about teaching, learning and developing people’s skills.  

Andrew enjoys traveling and revels in being outdoors, either on land or under the sea and experiencing new cultures.  He is now taking great joy in his new Thai lifestyle especially the delicious food and meeting so many friendly Thai people.

4.) Joshua (David) Bernstein (American Nationality)

อาจารย์จ็อชชัว (เดวิด) เบิร์นสไตน์

อ. จ็อชชัว เบิร์นสไตน์ อายุ 30 ปี เป็นคนอเมริกัน มาจากรัฐ New Hampshire มาอยู่เมืองไทยได้ 2 ปีแล้ว (ณ วันที่ 1 ส.ค. 2559) พูดภาษาไทยได้เล็กน้อย (และรักที่จะเรียนรู้ภาษาไทยไปเรื่อยๆ) มีแผนที่จะทำปริญญาเอกในอนาคตอันใกล้นี้

ประวัติการทำงาน:

July 2015 - ปัจจุบัน:  อาจารย์และผู้บรรยายวิชาภาษาอังกฤษ มหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ (รังสิตและท่าพระจันทร์) หลักสูตรและเนื้อหาที่สอนคือ Communication Skills in English (ทักษะการสื่อสารภาษาอังกฤษ), English for Job Applications (ภาษาอังกฤษสำหรับการสมัครงาน), English for Work (ภาษาอังกฤษที่ใช้ในงาน), TOEIC Test Preparation (การเตรียมตัวสอบ TOEIC) และ Business English (ภาษาอังกฤษสำหรับธุรกิจ)

2010 - ปัจจุบัน:         อาจารย์สอนภาษาอังกฤษตัวต่อตัว สอนทั้งในสถาบันฯ และนอกสถานที่
